Hiking trail network severely impaired

On 17 April 2025, exceptional weather conditions led to heavy snowfall and precipitation, including in central Valais.  This led to the closure of numerous hiking trails.

"Änand am Trog bigägnu" - the nature park municipality of Agarn sets an example!

On Sunday, April 13, the "Begegnung am Trog" trail was officially opened with over 100 people in attendance.

Closure of the Bois de Finges protected site

According to police information, the protected site of Bois de Finges is completely closed until at least Saturday. Follow the official instructions from the authorities.

Cleaning day - 100 volunteers for the Pfynwald nature reserve

On April 5, the traditional clean-up day took place in the Pfynwald nature reserve. Over 100 dedicated helpers supported the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park in ridding this unique landscape of garbage. Among them was the LSH association from Salgesch, which has been involved in clean-up campaigns for years....
