The new part of the Petit-Bois is open to the public. After months of redesign, planting and maintenance, you can go on a voyage of discovery and explore the various species of trees planted and the numerous facilities for small animals. But stay on the paths and keep your dogs on a lead: Nature needs a little time to develop.
Make a note of the official opening date: September 16, 2023!
As a municipality of the Pfyn-Finges Regional Nature Park and recently awarded the VilleVerte label, the town of Sierre is continuing its commitment to biodiversity. Between the Bellevue plain and the cemetery, the Petit-Bois hill offers a green oasis in the city center. After completing the first part of the restoration with facilities, benches, stone walls and path improvements, the town is continuing the renaturation of the "eastern" part of the Petit-Bois. Thanks to the collaboration between the municipality and the Pfyn-Finges Regional Nature Park, a unique and exemplary project has been realized.
