Since August 2021, Yves and Lucia Cordonier have been the new keepers of this mountain restaurant, which has been stylishly renovated with a lot of love and assistance from supporters in the region.
Here, they are fulfilling their dream of welcoming guests to a natural, historic, and unique culinary environment.
In the kitchen they place particular emphasis on working with local producers but are also open to the rich culinary heritage of the Alps. In addition to traditional dishes of Valais, such as the famous Cholera, which is part of the Ark of Taste (the Ark of Taste is a global inventory that lists high-quality traditional foods that are falling into oblivion or threatened with extinction), Lucia creates colorful and seasonal cuisine, refined with ingredients harvested from her own garden. An authentic and unforgettable experience!
