This excursion takes us into the water meadows where we will listen to the songs of the birds heralding the spring. They are mainly species that spend the winter with us or are with us for the whole year.
In the rocky steppe and fields around the Brentjong station with its large satellite antennas, the first homecomers from Africa, such as the hoopoe, the bunting fence, the redstart, etc., sing at this time of year.
We will observe birds in Leukerfeld that have returned early from their wintering grounds or are making a stopover on their migration north into the mountain regions.

This habitat is desired by various warblers, ammers, branch-singers and in building and garden-proximity also by garden and house-red-tail.
The Rilke Foundation and the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park are together organising an ornithological-poetic walk.
