The Pfyn-Finges Nature Park shows how urban areas can be ecologically upgraded and at the same time made liveable for both people and nature. The experiences and findings from many years of work have now been published in the magazine "Naturförderung in Gemeinden".
This publication is aimed at municipalities, experts and all interested parties. It offers a concrete overview of projects and developments in populated areas. It summarizes the findings from the areas of consulting, planning and implementation as well as from the training and further education courses offered in the years 2016-2024.
The concrete examples from practice, the checklists and the summarized "empirical values" are particularly valuable as they serve as orientation aids and facilitate the implementation of nature-friendly projects.
