The allure of the Pfynwald forest reserve - a new road, exciting excavations and climate research

You will learn lots of interesting facts about the construction of the new motorway.

Current archaeological excavations are bringing to light numerous traces of the past. The future of the Finges Forest will be revealed to you by the Finges Forest Research Platform of the WSL, the Swiss Federal Institute for Forest, Snow and Landscape Research.

The detailed programme for visiting the archaeological excavations will be announced from March 2027.

The excursion ends at approximately 5.30 p.m.
