This one or two-day cycle tour is rich in contrast and offers a unique experience with discovery of both sides of the valley. The tour starts at Leuk railway station and continues to Leukerfeld. Leukerfeld is well-known for its variety of bird life, and is situated not far from the Feschel gorge. Follow the route on the right bank of the Rhone as far as Turtmann. The little village of Oberems is reached by the LTUO cable car (Luftseilbahn Turtmann-Unter-Oberems). On the ride down to the valley you can pay a visit to the herb house (reservation required). The route takes you further to Gampel to the valley station of the Gampel - Jeizinen (LGJ) cable car. In Jeizinen there is a herd protection centre. The journey continues to Erschmatt. Erschmatt is a typical Valais mountain village and has a large variety garden with rye as the main subject. The tour continues over the Teufelsbrücke (Devil's/High Bridge) to Leuk. Leuk is worth a visit!
The stages Turtmann-Oberems and Gampel-Jeizinen are made with the cable car.

Discover the Feschelloch with the Feschel Gorge and the impressive waterfall. You also have the possibility of picnicking here. A visit to the Feschelloch hidden between Niedergampel and Susten is highly worthwhile!
Visit the children's playground in Niedergampel together with your children. There you will find a slide, swings, a sandpit, spring-toys, a climbing frame and for the parents there are benches to sit down on and a table.

In Leuk-Stadt there are still several estates and manor houses. In Kreuzgasse there is the Von-Werra manor house, the Zen-Ruffinen estate in the Gintig and the Mayotshos in the Galdinen.
The goshawk is a very agile and powerful flier. The goshawk usually hides away in the woods, but outside the breeding season it can be found in all habitats.
Those who espy a wall creeper fluttering up a rock face are enraptured by its beauty. Its jerky spreading of its wide flashing carmine wings is reminiscent of a butterfly.
Leuk has one of the most interesting and historic townscapes in the whole of Valais. Even today there is a medieval atmosphere that can be felt in the alleys and squares of this little town
In the Leuk-Stadt church there is a charnel house with a wall of skulls 20-metres long, which can be visited daily.
People work alongside nature. Out of this, a variety of cultivated plants have emerged and continue to evolve today. We will show you the plants and how people use them. You can only experience this in Erschmatt.
Oberems lies on a mountain road at the entrance to the Turtmann valley at an altitude of 1335 m. The "Gateway to Turtmann valley" only has 135 inhabitants, but with 5080 ha its area is one of the largest communities in the district of Leuk.

the pretty village of Unterems lies at an altitude of 1003 m Already in 1419 the mountain community was mentioned in history.
Oberems has also done something for families with children and made a picnic and children's playground on 2001 at Fenster 7, just above the village.
Leukerfeld has blossomed into a paradise for bird watchers in the last few years as a result of upgrading by the A9 motorway compensation measures.

This ‘Turriljigut’ (a country estate which has been under family ownership for several hundred years) comprises 10 hectares of land and is based in one of the biggest pine forests in Europe, the Pfyn Forest (Pfyn-Finges Nature Park).
The oenologist couple Isabella & Stéphane Kellenberger have been running the Vin d'oeuvre wine cellar in the heart of Leuk Town since 2013. They produce quality wines all over the Valais, with the majority of the vines located in the nature Park.
