Zweigelt 2020 Swiss country wine - DIROSO Winery

Zweigelt has now found its way from Austria to us in Valais: almost 1,000 vines in Varen provide the grapes for this great red wine.
The Baumann family presses a deep, dark wine with a fruity bouquet and a hint of pepper from the large-berried Zweigelt grapes. On the palate, connoisseurs can expect juicy fruit notes paired with a delicate spiciness. The full body is supported by a fine acidity and elegantly rounded off by velvety tannins.
This characteristic wine is an excellent accompaniment to roast meat, game specialties and Italian pasta dishes.
