Guiding visitors
More than a hundred tousend people are visiting the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park every year. It is important to us to guide them trough the park.
Signalisation
The Federal Office for the Environment (BAFU) has drafted a uniform signalisation concept for the Swiss parks. The Pfyn-Finges Nature Park is continuously implementing measures that optimise visitor guidance. At strategically important points the visitor will find interesting information about the region.
Surveillance of the nature reserve
The Pfyn forest has officially been designated as a protected area since 1997. Team Pfyn-Finges rangers are in charge of controlling the codes of conduct.
Dog training
On some days during the year, dog training is allowed in the forest of Pfyn/Finges Nature Reserve. These may only be carried out with the prior approval of the Canton. The nature park supports the Canton in coordinating the associations and supervising the permits. In the breeding season the permitted number of training sessions in the nature reserve is clearly restricted.
