Cancellation Tavolata 2022
Due to the unstable weather forecast for the coming weekend, the OC has come to the conclusion to cancel the planned Tavolata with a heavy heart. There will be no first event this year. Make a note of August 26, 2023, the date of the next Tavolata.
Sun instead of diesel on alps in the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park
Technically feasible, financially viable and operationally implementable? Replacing climate-damaging, noisy and smelly diesel generators on remote (alpine) farms with renewable energy systems is certainly possible. However, which solution is actually feasible depends on various factors and framework conditions on site. In order to offer interested farms an initial basis for consideration, the Pfyn-Finges Regional Nature Park has joined forces with the regional energy supply company RELL to participate in a concrete project on the Obern-Galm alpine pasture in Guttet-Feschel.
Renewal of the park label 2023 - 2032
Since 2013, Pfyn-Finges Nature Park has carried the park label «Regional Nature Park of National Importance» due to its outstanding landscapes and nature. Every 10 years, the park label is renewed through a retrospective evaluation and an application process. Based on the positive evaluation results, the Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) has decided to again award the park label to Pfyn-Finges Nature Park as of January 1, 2023 for the second operating phase. Together with our sponsors, and the Park communities, we are looking forward to the next 10 years!
