SOUND WALK: WHEN THE ROCK TALKS AND THE VALLEY SINGS

In the middle of the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park, the untamed Rhone reminds us that the landscape is not static. It has been constantly changing over hundreds of millions of years. Geological history has formed it slowly but inexorably to one of the most beautiful and authentic landscapes in Switzerland.

The Valais musicians Emilie Vuissoz and Didier Métrailler have been inspired by this unique natural environment and its geological history to provide an extraordinary sound experience: They create an original and captivating musical performance with natural elements and sounds in the heart of nature. Between the sound sets, Thierry Basset, geologist and volcanologist, explains the geological history of the landscape. On June 30, visitors have the opportunity of experiencing this geological and acoustic dive into the environment with handed-out audio headsets.  This presentation will only be in French.
