The managers of the Valais Nature Parks Binntal, Pfyn-Finges, Trient Valley and UNESCO World Heritage SAJA met last Thursday to plan joint activities in Salgesch.

The tasks of the nature parks and the SAJA UNESCO World Heritage Site include the preservation and enhancement of nature and landscape as well as the strengthening of a sustainable economy in the regions. Together with the federal government and the canton, they define the specific services to be implemented for a period of four years. The parks implement their own and joint measures. The networking and close cooperation between the parks and the World Heritage Site allows important synergies to be exploited.

At the meeting in Salgesch, joint measures were planned for the 2025-28 operating phase. The population will be able to benefit from many interesting courses, excursions and regional products. Interested parties can get actively involved in the preservation and enhancement of our unique natural and landscape values through landscape conservation work in all four areas.
