Sophie Michaud joined the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park team in January 2024 as "Sustainability, Products and Tourism" manager. She began her career in special education after graduating from the University of Fribourg. This was followed by training in tourism and entertainment management for Vercorin Tourisme. After a five-month hiking trip through Switzerland in 2009, she joined Kultur Wallis as head of the "Information and Advice" office. She introduced the Valais excellence certification and obtained a DAS in cultural management. Ten years later, she refocused her career and worked in the field of ecological transition for Utopia association until the end of 2023. A five-month hiking trip - from April to September 2024 - takes Sophie Michaud and her companion to Istanbul, across the Balkans and through other parks in the Alpine Network.
