Nature park partnerships in the sunny mountains

The network of partner companies of the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park has been enriched by two businesses from the Sonnenberge. The award was given to the Rye Center in Erschmatt and the "Pfründhaus" accommodation in Guttet-Feschel. Together, they are aiming for a sustainable orientation of the businesses as well as the further development of offers for authentic experiences and regional products.

"Through the nature park, we can credibly convey the uniqueness and value of our diverse landscape to our guests," says Frédy Jäggi from the Pfründhaus. The historic building in Guttet has been gently renovated and now offers groups such as nature lovers, bikers or anyone who wants to take a break an overnight stay in an impressive setting. The Rye Center in Erschmatt also focuses on authentic experiences. The traditional rye and baking culture of the village is incorporated and transformed into modern offers: from overnight stays to culinary creations in the restaurant and baking experiences in the bakery. Bruno Inderkummen from the Rye Center: "The nature park can help us to anchor the idea of sustainability even more firmly in the development of experiences and culinary creations and to strengthen the connection to regional cycles and the landscape." The nature park also benefits from the growing network with local businesses."By committing to constantly improving the sustainable orientation of the businesses, they become the best ambassadors for the values of the nature park, which we want to convey to locals and guests," explains Andreas Gattlen, the responsible head of department at the nature park.

Partner companies of the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park are committed to the values of the Swiss parks, exemplify them and are recognized for their commitment to these values. These include the sustainable use of natural resources, regional value creation and cooperation. Furthermore, the partner companies form a network community with the nature park in order to create new, innovative development and marketing opportunities in the region through the exchange of ideas and information.
