The Pfyn-Finges Nature Park and the town of Sierre have received recognition for the realization of the Petit Bois as part of the "Gardens & Public Spaces Valais 2024" award.
The aim of the prize is to raise public and developer awareness of good practice in garden and landscape design and to promote quality and sustainability in the design of public spaces. It is intended to raise the profile of the outdoor space and landscape design professions and sensitize the public and politicians to quality-oriented and sustainable landscape design.
The fourth edition of the "Gardens & Public Spaces Valais 2024" award was organized by the umbrella association JardinSuisse - Valais in collaboration with the State of Valais. The realization of the Petit-Bois is the result of a collaboration between the City of Sierre, the Pfyn-Finges Nature Park, GartenMensch and Jardin SA.
