Arouse interest, confront and discuss. This is how the nature park understands contemporary awareness-raising work. Under the direction of Stephan Hermann, the OS students in Leukerbad have taken on this challenging task.
To arouse interest, the pupils were invited to take old pictures and photos with them. They then discussed the original locations with the help of their cell phones. On another afternoon, they spontaneously confronted people in these places and recorded this in the form of interviews. For the final event, the living "village chroniclers" Arlette Grichting and Bruno Zumofen were invited into the classroom. After a round of questions, this meeting developed into an exciting conversation about the world of today and yesterday, from bikinis to cell phones, from fashion to beach tourism. There are stories and people behind the pictures. During this final discussion between generations, the pupils forgot they were at school.
