Fish
The fish fauna in Pfyn-Finges Forest are not particularly rich in species. They can be divided into two groups: one group of species lives in the cold waters of the Rhone and the canals and the other in the ponds. These ponds are fed by groundwater and the water from the underground canal running from Susten to Chippis.

The first group consists of fish that require clear water with plenty of oxygen. The others content themselves with still waters with dense vegetation and the accompanying low level of oxygen.
