Directions to the Pfyn-Finges Regional Nature Park



The nature park is always open to public. Free entry.


By train

It takes two hours by train to arrive in Visp (in Valais) from Zurich or Basel. From Bern it takes no longer than an hour. A number of regional trains go from Visp to Gampel, Turtmann, Leuk, Salgesch and Sierre. Express trains in the direction of Lausanne will take you directly to Leuk or Sierre.


From Geneva and Lausanne, you can take a direct express train to Sierre or Leuk.

Take the A9 to Valais to the end of the motorway in Sierre. Pfyn-Finges Forest begins at the end of the motorway, along with the nature park.


The BLS Lötschberg car-train transfer service will take you from Kandersteg to Goppenstein. From Goppenstein, head towards Brig into the valley. This will take you to Gampel and thus into the nature park. Continuing in the direction of Lausanne will take you through the nature park.

Mobility vehicles are also available in the Sierre and Leuk railway stations.
