This largely depends on how the concept is implemented by the various providers. The better that it is implemented, the better it can be marketed and the greater the response. The strong economic effect that a nature park can have on a region has already been demonstrated. The financial support received from the government is currently expected to be in the range of CHF 300,000 -500,000 per annum for each nature park. This roughly meets the cost of running a park. Thus, other sources must be found for financing other concrete projects. Past experience has shown that finding sponsors becomes easier when a project has the backing of a recognized nature park. |
