How can added economic value be created in the nature park? |
|
The answer lies with local providers of goods and services. Visitors want to have a special experience and be surprised and pampered. Only then will they tell their friends and acquaintances about the wine-tasting they went to, where they dined out or the hotel they stayed in. Everything can be sold, either as a mass product or as an insider tip. There is not very much additional effort required, but the rewards are immense.
Co-operation plays a large role in achieving this. The better each party knows the goods and services of the other parties, the better visitors can be advised when planning their stay and the more they will enjoy it. Which holidaymaker wouldn't like an insider tip from someone who knows the region well?
